Your customers’ information stays in the UK, stays encrypted and stays yours. Here is exactly how Mealround looks after it.

Who we are

Mealround is run by Teddys Ventures Limited, registered in England and Wales (company no. 17175500). We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office, registration number ZC275505.

Where your data is kept

Mealround runs on Microsoft Azure in the UK South (London) region. Your data and its backups stay in the UK.

How it is protected

• Encrypted when stored: the database and its backups are encrypted at rest.
• Encrypted when sent: every connection to Mealround uses HTTPS.
• Backed up automatically: we can restore your data to any point in the last 35 days.
• Kept separate: each service sees only its own customers.
• Access you control: office staff have their own logins; drivers sign in with a mobile number and PIN and see only that day’s round. You can remove anyone’s access at any time.

Who is responsible for what

Your service stays in control of your customers’ information: you are the data controller, and we process it only to run Mealround for you. We sign a data processing agreement with every customer setting this out.

What we hold

Only what you need to deliver meals safely: names, addresses, contact details and next of kin, delivery days, diets, allergies and textures, welfare notes, orders and invoices.

If you leave

You can export your data at any time. If you stop using Mealround, we send you a full copy and delete your data from the live system within 30 days. Copies in backups expire within a further 35 days.
